Dear Funkateers,

Hi Funkatiers – I was going to retire after more than 50 years in this job.

Over the years I have gained knowledge and know-how to make this station work. I am going to put those years to good use. Through working with the super stars such as – TSOP, the Jackson family / George Clinton Billy Paul / Kool and the Gang and EWF The O’Jays etc…has given me a first-hand insight into R&B radio.
Now it is time – in the new Europe, that a station which is dedicated to promoting Old School music be born!!!
A station, which is purely R&B Adult Contemporary formatted – we give you WKIZ Radio Kizz.

Hi Funkateers WKIZ has now been on air since 2007 and we have been making strides that are absolutely amazing. Our team has grown and the listener quota is at its all-time best. We are the only radio that provides commercial-free none-stop Old School R&B / Soul / Funk /Dance and Disco 24/7.

One of our latest programs is “Lost in the 70s” / “Lost in the 80s” and “Lost in the 90s” which are totally Old School and “The Urban Meltdown” The Urban Chart Hits. “TSOP”. Joining the team are 2 new DJs (more info in a few days).

The presenters are all professionals with years of radio and club knowledge and experience. We all do this job (if you can really call it A JOB?) because we live for the music of life & Soul.

Listen to how the team is swimming in the music they love and respect. This station is for “Grown Folks”. We have a completely mobile broadcasting system and if you wish to see us live in a club or on stage then check out the “EVENTS” icon.
